The WRGEC is designed to address issues on aging and to educate health care professionals on geriatrics. Within the realm of geriatrics, the WRGEC has established specializations in:
- Geriatric Palliative Care
- Evaluation Techniques
- Cancer and Aging
- Mental Health and Aging
- Rural Health Issues
